Bamboo Forest, AL
The Bamboo Forest, also known as Wilderness Park, is in Prattville, Alabama. This is an hour and a half away from Auburn, but promises great views!
This hiking spot only offers about a half mile of trails of bamboo, but has over 26 acres of land. The bamboo reaches up to 60 ft tall, making you feel like you’re really in the forest!
A nice creek runs alongside the trail, which gives you an extra bit of nature. There’s also a central lake that has plants, birds, turtles and plenty of nature. Enjoy an escape to this peaceful getaway.
